Cooks in Sri Lanka

Looking for work as a cook?

Kitchens look for cooks who cook to a standard, keep the kitchen clean and work to service times. Families often want rice and curry, short eats or a particular diet. Describe the food you cook and where you have worked, so the offers suit you.

On Ceylon Seva you build a profile with your skills, experience and the hourly rate you expect. Once it’s approved, we send you job offers suited to you, and you decide which to take. Your hours are recorded and confirmed, and your payment statements show what you earned. You work as an independent contractor.

Need a cook?

A business creates a project for its kitchen and books cooks for the dates it needs. A household creates a position for a cook with its own days and hours, for example weekday lunches and dinners. Either way, you compare the cooks matched to you and their hourly rates before you book.

Each worker sets their own hourly rate, and you see it before you book. The platform fees are published in full. See the fee structure
